Fashion Career Pop Up *NEW DATE*

Part of the Jobtings Career Pop Up programme.

This session is all about introducing our members to the fantastic opportunities in the fashion industry.

The Fashion and Textiles industry is broad and extremely competitive. You could be involved with everything from buying, merchandising, sourcing, finance, design and garment technology, retail management, marketing, HR, ICT & digital or even journalism.

During this event we’ll cover career opportunities in fashion and how to break into the industry

What to expect:

– Icebreaker

– Listen to panellists describe their day-to-day work, their career journeys, and their top tips for anyone looking to enter the sector.

– Chance to ask questions, both to the wider panel, and one-on-one with speakers

– An opportunity to meet employers 

– Light refreshments  provided

What is the Jobtings Career Pop Up programme?

The Jobtings Career Pop up programme are a series of  employment events created in collaboration with our members.

Taking place throughout the Autumn term 2019, they will provide attendees with the opportunity to meet employers from across various industries, and gather information on potential employment, internships and career paths.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

The event is open to students from all degree subjects, and any university institution,  

Please ensure to bring your Student ID on the day.

The event is also open to graduates and professionals.

Do you offer refunds?

Yes, we  have a 7 day refund policy.  This means attendees can request refunds up to 7 days before the event start date.

I’m not a Jobtings member can I still come to the event?

Yes. The Jobtings Career Pop Up events have been created in collaboration with our members, and are open to all, students, graduates and professionals.

What’s the dress code for the event?

As the event is a professional networking event, the dress code is semi casual/business casual.

What can I bring into the event?

Bring a notepad and pen / laptop for taking notes.

During the event you will be speaking with new people, graduate recruiters and other professionals, so bring your best self!  Also demonstrate a positive mindset and be willing to network and ask interesting questions .

If you’ve resgitered for a student ticket, ensure to bring your Student ID on the day.

Will the event be filmed?

By registering for a ticket, you consent to being filmed, recorded and photographed at the event as a member of the audience and to footage and photographs of you being used by Jobtings in any medium for the promotion and marketing of Jobtings

What happens when all the tickets are sold?

Due to overwhelming demand, our events tend to sell out before the closing date. When this happens, you can add your name to the waitlist and if a ticket becomes available we’ll let you know.
